Other options include a morning dive off Cap Norfeu here in Roses, or slightly further afield off the Medes Islands, followed by an afternoon hike among the Sierra de Rodes or Sierra de la Albera mountains.

Hiking Trails

Cala Canyelles is the gateway for hikers to the Cap de Creus Natural Park.

Historical walks

And then there are the time-told treks in the area, such as the megalithic routes to the walled citadel of Roses or the trails that follow in the footsteps of the Greco-Roman and Visigoth civilisations that have been populating our town since the 8th century BC.

Just a stone’s throw away from the hotel, you can marvel at examples of the splendour of classical times, the fascinating medieval past of our neighbours, and the resistance of our people to the ravages of contemporary history. Today, our wines and our cuisine will engage you in the history that we’re building with you right now.
